THE ROLE:

Our Operational Risk Management Contractor will work closely with our Home Equity Line of Credit Operations teams to ensure that operational risk principles are implemented throughout the process.

  • Individually work with the process areas for the identification and development of process maps.
  • Identify organizational, operational, and information technology risks within each process and the mitigating controls for the development of a risk and control inventory.

REQUIREMENTS/CHARACTERISTICS:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, specializing in Finance, Accounting, or Management from an accredited college or four-year university.
  • Minimum of 5 years of internal auditing, operational risk management, or equivalent public accounting experience, with an emphasis on the real estate lending industry.
  • Moderate to Advanced knowledge of process mapping and GRC applications.
  • Basic knowledge of regulatory environments applicable to the financial services industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Strong planning and execution skills.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Able to employ sound judgment in making complex and rapid decisions.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and utilize discretion in sensitive matters.
