THE OPPORTUNITY:

Freedom Financial Network is looking for a talented Software Development Intern for the summer of 2022. You'll work with other members of the Software Development team to build real products and features. You will participate in the planning, scoping, development, testing, and deployment phases of new feature development. You will interact with team members from other teams to plan and coordinate new work. You'll have an opportunity to interact with every facet of our business. Our ideal candidate is eager to learn, will bring a unique perspective and voice to the table, and values building strong relationships that will extend beyond the length of the program.

REQUIREMENTS/CHARACTERISTICS:

• Current rising senior at an accredited University
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals, object oriented design principles, and data structures and algorithms
• Proficiency in one or more of these languages: PHP, Javascript, Java, Go, CSS, HTML5
• Experience with web frameworks such as React, Vue, Angular, Node.js
• Ability to break down requirements into practical engineering tasks
• Excellent debugging, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in information security
